Help preserve the legacy of Dr. King
Our divine assignment is to restore this historical landmark and create a museum where people can see where Dr. King slept, ate, prepared his messages, and plotted his first anti-discrimination lawsuit. The museum will also display other hidden gems about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King that their unique connection to the city of Camden and his stay at the Crozer Theological Seminary.

Preserve A Legacy
U.S. Rep. John Lewis, an icon of the Civil Rights movement, touted the home’s historic significance as a place where his friend and mentor, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., had stayed as a young seminarian. King, involved in 1950 in a racially-motivated dispute in nearby Maple Shade, had listed the now-derelict home as his address.
